Attention Mobile Users!

Attention Mobile Users!

We are delighted that more and more of our customers are linking their mobile phones with their International Telecall account for increased savings and convenience. At the same time, International Telecall wants to make sure that our mobile users are correctly placing calls on their mobile service to avoid the costly mistakes. To avoid problems that some customers have faced, please take special care to make sure your connection with International Telecall is complete whenever placing international calls from your mobile phone. The following steps are highly recommended:

  1. Be especially attentive when placing your calls through your mobile phone. Make sure you are connected with the International Telecall network and listen for the International Telecall prompts before placing your international calls. Be aware of any unusual time delay between the International Telecall prompts and the time you dial the number, as it could mean that your signal has dropped and you have become disconnected from the International Telecall platform.
  2. After hearing the International Telecall prompt and entering the number you wish to call, do not hit the send button again. This can initiate a 2nd call from your mobile phone – and the call could be sent directly to your mobile provider at a much higher rate.
  3. If you are disconnected, make sure you redial the access number and listen for the International Telecall prompts again before redialing the number you wish to call.
  4. Local airtime and/or roaming charges may be billed by your mobile company even though International Telecall is handling your international call. International Telecall will not and cannot be held responsible for charges incurred by your cell phone provider such as airtime and or roaming charges. If you are not sure about your current plan, please contact your cell phone provider before using this service. When you use our service from your mobile phone – you will still be responsible for minutes used on your local / national call from your mobile phone – it’s as though you’re just calling a US telephone number.
  5. If you’re concerned about making a mistake with calling internationally, you may want to consider contacting your mobile company to see about blocking international calls. Since International Telecall’s platform is a national call from your mobile phone, this will not block your ability to use our service.
  6. For the easiest service, register your mobile number with us so you do not have to enter the account number each time you call the platform. You can contact our customer service staff at any time to assist with this easy setup process. Setting up your mobile number for automatic account recognition will also help to decrease the chances that you’ll be disconnected while entering your account information.

Remember that mobile calls are especially prone to disconnection. International Telecall specifically disclaims any liability, loss, or risk incurred as a consequence directly or indirectly in the use of International Telecall telephone services, including but not limited to charges from mobile phone companies or other carriers. Please follow the steps above to avoid unpleasant surprises and ensure the greatest ease of use and maximum savings with your International Telecall account.
